I am usually the one to put together a veggie tray for any and all occasions so when I saw this beautifully decorated turkey veggie tray I knew I would have to copy it and make it from now on for Thanksgiving. I have to give credit where credit is due so I have to tell you that this came from http://www.ellentv.com/2012/11/26/thanksgiving-veggie-tray/
I know for me and my family we also like broccoli, cauliflower and OLIVES. I capitalized olives because my family loves them so much. So I will have to incorporate somehow these 3 veggies into this platter. I am thinking that instead of the green bell pepper I will replace that with the broccoli and I can probably add the olives in between the cucumber and the tomatoes. I can actually move the cucumber to the outside of the dish and kind of place them under and around the green onions and in place of where the cucumber is now I can place the cauliflower. Hey, that might actually work, what do ya think?
I have a dinner party with some great friends coming up for Thanksgiving and this would be a great time to try out my version of the T-Day Veggie Tray. I will let you know how it goes.
Come back next week because my sister Rae Ann will be posting our family recipe for home-made pumpkin pie. It is Deeeeelicious.
Happy Crafting and Creating
