So I’ve been looking for a way to restore the luster of our Oak furniture in our room. this is a picture of my husband’s side table. As you all can see he has put his water-glass and whatever else on it without using a towel or at least some kind of barrier To protect the wood.
while looking through on of my books on how everyday kitchen items can be used for other chores I happened to find this. Apply Mayonnaise to the white rings/spots on furniture let set for about an hour then wipe clean.
Woo hoo it works! One application and it already looks 100% better. I’m gonna try another round to see if it helps even more. Then polishing time. who knew mayonnaise wasn’t just for sandwiches. Whoever you are thanks for the tip, definitely passing this one on.
